REVÉURSE is a consultancy firm in Tanzania that focuses on providing financial and advisory services to clients. We are currently looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our team in Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Handling payroll processing, including monthly salaries, statutory payments, and ensuring timely remittances.
• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records.
• Posting transactions accurately into the Zoho Accounting System or similar software.
• Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring timely payments to all suppliers.
• Preparing and filing all statutory payments (TRA, NSSF, WCF, SDL) with relevant government authorities, as required.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Performing monitoring supplier’s quotations.
• Providing tax planning and advisory support to ensure compliance with tax legislation.
• Liaising with auditors, banks, TRA, and other statutory bodies as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA/ACCA certification or its equivalent (strong advantage).
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Proven proficiency in the use of the Zoho Accounting System or similar financial software.
• Strong understanding of Tanzanian tax laws, statutory payments, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliations, and management reporting.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
