Background
Mambo Coffee Company Limited (MCCL) is a sustainable green coffee export company registered under the laws of Tanzania. We export both Arabica and Robusta coffee, primarily produced by smallholder farmers.
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking qualified, motivated, and experienced professionals to join our team across various locations.
Job Summary
The Accountant will manage financial records, payments, reporting, and statutory compliance while providing accurate financial information for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Coffee industry knowledge is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- File statutory returns and prepare budgets, cash flow, and management accounts.
- Manage company assets, coffee stock, credit facilities, and staff loans.
- Ensure proper filing of accounting documents.
- Prepare reports for management decision-making.
- Perform other duties assigned by the MD.
