Accountant (Projects)

• Financial Record Keeping: Recording all financial transactions, managing ledgers, and maintaining accurate financial data
• Reporting: Preparing and publishing timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports on financial health.
• Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Taxation: Computing taxes, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Auditing: Performing internal audits, examining financial documents for accuracy, and ensuring compliance.
• Cash Flow & Budgets: Monitoring cash flow, preparing budgets, and managing income/expenditure.
• Financial Analysis: Analysing financial data to help management make informed decisions.
• Cost Management: Suggesting ways to reduce costs, improve profitability, and enhance revenue.
• Financial Planning: Assisting with financial forecasting, risk analysis, and strategic planning.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Managing invoices, payments, and collections.

Minimum requirements of the job

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certifications like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is an added advantage
• At least 1 year experience in accounts, finance, or similar tasks.
