Position Overview
On behalf of a client in the ICT industry, Inspire HR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to support the daily operations of the finance department. This internship offers recent accounting and finance graduates practical, hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and enterprise accounting software inside a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Entry: Assist in daily financial transactions, voucher processing, and general ledger postings.
- Reconciliations: Support bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable tracking, and vendor account reviews.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing preliminary financial statements, management reports, and tax compliance documentation under supervision.
- Systems & Data Management: Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets to organize and archive financial records.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related academic discipline.
- Graduation Window: Candidates must have graduated between 2024 and 2026.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of standard accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Experience: Prior practical exposure through field attachments, industrial training, or internships will be an added advantage.
- Core Competencies: Strong numerical ability, high integrity, keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal communication.
