Job Overview:

To manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Corporate Tax) and timely filing of returns.
• Coordinate with auditors during annual audits.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Tanzania) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an accounting role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally) and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and Tanzanian financial regulations.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
