JOB DETAILS:
TAPBDS Company Limited is seeking nine qualified and experienced Regional Business Development Service (BDS) Consultants to join our team. This consultancy will run from August 2025 – July 2026 and is part of the Business Development Services for Inclusive Finance in Agriculture and Food Systems Project.
Location: Njombe, Iringa, Ruvuma, Mbeya, Songwe, Rukwa, Katavi, Kigoma, and Kagera (applicants may select one region).
What You’ll Do:
- Support youth and women-led agri-MSMEs in maize, sunflower, rice, and horticulture value chains.
- Deliver tailored business development services: training, coaching, mentorship, and business plan development.
- Facilitate access to finance, markets, digital solutions, and government initiatives.
- Strengthen networks with financial institutions, SMEs, and farmer organizations.
- Document lessons learned and provide regular project reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, banking, investment facilitation, or agribusiness advisory.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzania’s agriculture value chains.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and mentor enterprises.
- Excellent networking skills with financial institutions, private sector, and government.
