JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Radiographer will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, Ultrasounds) as prescribed by physicians. The role requires technical expertise, attention to safety, and care for patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce clinical images for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Process images and ensure they are of high diagnostic quality before submitting them to Radiologists.
• Perform routine quality control checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Imaging.
• Valid practicing license from the relevant radiation protection board or council.
• Proven experience as a Radiographer is preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
