JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The General Practitioner will provide primary and continuing medical care to patients. The role involves diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatment, and promoting health and wellness. The GP will be the first point of contact for patients and will refer them to specialists when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans.
• Provide preventive care, including health education and immunization.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Refer patients to specialist consultants for further investigation or treatment when required.
• Participate in an on-call roster for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Medicine (MD or MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a mandatory internship and residency program.
• Full registration with the Medical Council and a valid practicing license.
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach.
