SBC Tanzania Limited is a well-established and progressing multinational company that supplies soft drinks products nationwide. We have plants in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha and Mbeya. Currently our Dar es Salaam Plant seeks to urgently recruit qualified, experienced, and hands-on-skilled personnel to fill the following position:

Job Position: Quality Assurance Technician (2)

Reporting to: Assistant Quality Control Manager

Location: Dar es Salaam

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Assist in testing and inspection of products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from the existing standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure Raw/Packaging materials are within specifications before receiving/accepting.
• Ensure bottle washer parameters are within required specifications.
• Ensure blown bottle parameters are within specifications.
• Ensure compliance to GMP, Quality and Food Safety standards.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance to good housekeeping practices, standards and schedules.
• Ensure equipment, machines and their surroundings are maintained in a clean and proper manner.
• Ensure food contact, non-food contact, product and non-product zones are maintained clean and tidy.
• Ensure the production of quality and safe products (Water, Syrup and Beverage)
• Maintain proper and timely documentation of all parameters and activities.
• Maintain proper operations of the effluent treatment plant.
• Preparation of reports
• Timely requisition of materials from store (through NAV system)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Quality and timely production of water, syrup and beverage.
• Conformance of quality parameters at various stages of production.
• Compliance to Food safety and regulatory standards.
• Proper and timely documentation.

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Laboratory, Food Science and Technology or a related field
