Supervising Mechanical team Agri machinery team and. Ensure the repairs are Performed timely and efficiently.
3.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to identify and list spare parts that are required for the repairs in a spare part catalogue.
- Read & understanding equipment operating & repair manuals and execute the works as per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Diagnose and repair tractors, planters, harvesters, sprayers, irrigation pumps, and other farm equipment’s
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and calibration of machinery as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Fully understanding equipment system operation” such as power train, engine, transmission, hydraulics, brakes, electrics, and monitoring systems.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment accessories and components.
- Ensuring that all items such as technical and machine information, hours spent on repairs Maintenance is properly recorded and filed.
- Will be requested as and when required to coach, guide & train mechanics
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.
4.0 QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 – 6 years working experience in agricultural machinery maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Strong super visionary and leadership skills
- Effective communication skill both written and oral.
- Able to use initiative in prioritizing tasks.
- A computer literate especially on Excel, Word and fleet Management.
