JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Collecting geological samples from field excursions and well sites
• Describing and identifying lithologies of rock samples from outcrops and wells
• Producing surface and subsurface maps
• Preparing thin sections for sedimentology studies and interpreting lithology from well data
• Attending and describing well cuttings on site drilling operations and prepares well summary sheets;
• Participating in interpreting acquired geological well data including composite logs, wire-line logs, mud-logs and drillers logs
Qualification and Experience
• Holder of Bachelor Degree in Geology, Geo-Science, Petroleum Geology or equivalent qualifications from recognized institution.
