JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

The Cashier will handle all financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for managing daily cash receipts, issuing invoices, and maintaining proper financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer payments (cash, cheques, credit cards) and issue receipts.
• Maintain an accurate daily record of all transactions in the system.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare and deposit daily bank takings.
• Issue invoices and follow up on pending payments.
• Assist in basic bookkeeping and financial reporting as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a cashier or in a similar financial role.
• Honesty and high level of integrity.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: associate degree
