JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES           

1. To carry out lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical for undergraduate programmes;
2. To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate examinations;
3. To assist senior staff in lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical for postgraduate programmes;
4. To supervise projects and practical training for undergraduate students;
5. To conduct research and publish results;
6. To carry out consultancy and public services;
7. To undergo postgraduate training to PhD level;
8. To participate in relevant workshops and conferences; and
9. To perform any other relevant duties as assigned by one’s superior.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE    

Master of Arts in Gender Studies or Master of Arts in Sociology or Master of Arts in Community Development and Bachelor Degree in Sociology or Gender Studies and Community Development Bachelor Degree in Political Science. Applicants for this post must possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 or a B+ average at Master’s degree level and an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from local or an internationally, reputable University recognized by Tanzania Commission for Universities.
