DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Relation Duties:
• Greet and briefing basic information to guests, visitors, or clients
• Assist in resolving customer complaints or problems.
• Assist in Managing guest services and activities
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist in answering any inquiries pertaining to camp policies and services and resolve occupants’ complaints.
• Strict observation of customers inquiries ie dietary requirement,
• Coordinator between the front office and back office support team ie Housekeeping, Drivers, Kitchen etc.
Human resources and Operational Functions
• Lead, manage, teach, and coach camp teams, including support members, food services, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and other team members.
• Assist in performing various HR functions on behalf of the main office i.e., Leave, staff transport, welfare etc.
• Assist in overseeing duties are performed incompliance to health and safety standards and food Safety standards.
• Assist in conducting employee training programs and performance management to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Assist in formulating and implementing company procedures and policies.
• Perform all record keeping roles for the camp.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the hospitality industry (preferably as a supervisor or waiter)
• Previous experience in bush camps will be highly valued
• Experience in drinks and beverages especially cocktails would be an added advantage. · Excellent communication skills (Excellent English speaking and writing)
• Leadership skills, guest oriented, sharp, quick thinker and problem solver
• Knowledge on Ms package (res request an added advantage)
• Good manners and a positive attitude
.Flexibility, commitment, dedication, and reliability Team-orientation, loyalty and excellent leadership skills
• Excellent knowledge of HR, Food safety standards, bush knowledge, food menus, drinks, food presentation and service protocols.
• A hospitable and service-oriented attitude
• Age preference 28 – 40 yrs old.
