Paveway Africa Limited on behalf of our client is looking for a Sales Admin Officer who will be an integral part of the sales team, providing essential administrative support to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a proactive approach to managing administrative tasks, supporting sales staff, and facilitating communication within the sales department and with clients.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the sales team in preparing for client meetings and presentations.
  • To coordinate the submission of proposals and sales contracts.
  • Manage and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • To schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for sales staff.
  • Order and manage office supplies and ensure all sales team resources are available as needed.
  • To prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales outcomes and metrics.
  • To monitor the team’s sales performance against targets and provide feedback.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials and sessions for sales staff.
  • To handle customer issues and complaints with a professional demeanor, escalating to appropriate channels when needed.
  • Assist with the processing of sales orders and invoices.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure that payments are collected and recorded accurately.
  • Monitor budgets and expenses related to sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
