Job Overview:

To perform skilled welding tasks to join, fabricate, and repair metal parts and components according to specifications, supporting the assembly and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate welding equipment (Arc, MIG, TIG, Gas) to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to standards.
• Perform basic fitting and grinding operations to prepare and finish welds.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions.
• Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• VETA Certificate in Welding & Metal Fabrication (e.g., C12) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional welding experience.
• Ability to pass a practical welding test.
• Knowledge of different welding techniques and metal properties.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
