The Barrick Africa Middle East Team is seeking to recruit UG Reliability Engineer to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities
- Asset performance analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of critical underground assets to identify issues and potential failure points.
- Root cause analysis: Investigate the root causes of equipment failures and production losses to develop corrective actions.
- Maintenance planning: Create and improve predictive and preventive maintenance programs, using data to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Risk management: Identify and manage health, safety, and environmental risks associated with underground operations.
- Continuous improvement: Implement process improvements and collaborate with other teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Technology implementation: Evaluate and implement new technologies and robust architectures to improve system design and reliability.
- Technical Support and Training: Providing technical expertise and coaching to maintenance and operations teams on reliability best practices and the use of specific monitoring systems.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all reliability and asset management practices adhere to strict safety regulations and compliance requirements specific to underground operations.
Qualification requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Engineering or Registered Professional Certified Engineer
Experience and Competencies needed
Minimum 5 years Maintenance Engineer level or higher with experience in Mining Industry to analyze, maintain, and improve the reliability of underground equipment and infrastructure.
