JOB DETAILS:
Xin Yu Investment Limited is seeking a skilled Technician.
Responsibilities or duties
To perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, combining mechanical and basic electrical skills.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Assist electricians with basic electrical tasks (sensor replacement, motor connections).
- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, alignment, and vibration analysis.
- Use CMMS to log work orders and parts usage.
- Participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns.
- Fabricate small components using lathe, mill, or welder as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety around machinery.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Basic electrical safety certification (e.g., safe isolation, LOTO).
Experience needed
- 2–4 years in industrial mechanical maintenance (conveyors, pumps, presses, packaging lines).
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
- Team player with willingness to work shifts.
