Xin Yu Investment Limited is seeking a Systems Analyst – Robotics (S.A. Robotics) to support, program, and optimize robotic systems (articulated arms, collaborative robots, AGVs) used in production, ensuring maximum uptime and integration with plant control systems.
Responsibilities or duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, troubleshoot, and modify robotic paths and logic (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or UR).
- Integrate robots with PLCs (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and vision systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on robotic controllers, servo drives, and end‑effectors.
- Train technicians and operators on safe robotic operation and basic recovery.
- Diagnose communication errors (EtherNet/IP, Profinet) between robots and line controllers.
- Collaborate with process engineers to improve cycle times and reduce collisions.
- Maintain robot backup files, software versions, and spare parts inventory.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related.
- Certification in at least one major robot brand.
Experience needed
Experience:
- 3+ years working directly with industrial robots in manufacturing or logistics.
- Experience with simulation software (RoboDK, Visual Components) an advantage.
Competencies:
- Strong logic and programming fundamentals.
- Ability to work in high-speed automated environments.
- Patience for debugging complex motion systems.
