About the job
Are you a motivated and confident salesperson looking to grow your career on the beautiful island of Zanzibar? CleanEco is expanding, and we’re looking for a local or Tanzanian-based sales representative to join our team!
We’re already well established on the island, proudly working with over 100 hotels and resorts, and we’re just getting started.

Your main job:
- Visit hotels and resorts across Zanzibar
- Sell our cleaning and laundry products (and demo them!)
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Reach and beat sales targets
- Keep us updated using our sales software
- Stay informed about the market and competitors
- Handle client issues quickly and professionally
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in sales (especially in cleaning, chemicals, or hospitality)
- Is confident, friendly, and well-spoken
- Loves closing deals
- Is highly organized and reliable
- Can work independently and take initiative
- Understands that this job is not your typical 9 to 5 – flexibility is key!
Minimum requirements:
- Diploma or Degree (in business, marketing, or chemistry – not a must, but a plus)
- At least 3 years’ sales experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable using phone and computer systems
- Clean driving record (must be able to drive)
