We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Marketing Growth Specialist to develop, execute, and manage a hyper-focused marketing campaign. Your primary mission will be increasing new customer installations and creating dominant brand awareness in our new coverage areas. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role perfect for a marketing generalist who thrives on strategy and execution.
Responsibilities include:
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement the detailed marketing plan to acquire new customers.
- Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, from conceptualization and planning to execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Coordinate grand launch events in new coverage areas, including liaising with vendors, MCs, and promo teams.
Digital & Traditional Marketing:
- Create, manage, and optimize digital ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Google targeted within Dar es Salaam.
- Develop engaging content (photos, videos, testimonials) for social media to build buzz and social proof.
- Liaise with local radio stations and other traditional media outlets to place effective advertisements.
Field Marketing & Sales Support:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of temporary field sales agents for door-to-door canvassing and promotions.
- Oversee the distribution of marketing materials (flyers, banners) in targeted neighborhoods.
- Develop sales scripts and promotional offers for the field team to ensure consistent messaging.
Budget & Vendor Management:
- Manage the allocated marketing budget efficiently, ensuring a high return on investment (ROI) and low cost.
- Source and negotiate with vendors for printing, branding, event management, and media buying.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all marketing activities daily and weekly.
- Provide clear reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including lead generation & conversion rates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar marketing role, preferably in a telecom or a fast-paced startup environment.
- A demonstrable portfolio of having designed and executed successful, results-driven marketing campaigns.
- Strong experience with social media advertising and digital marketing tools.
- Experience in offline marketing, including event planning, coordinating field teams and traditional media.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
