Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager who can seamlessly manage the daily operations of our main restaurant while also possessing the skills to oversee and execute successful banquet events. This role requires a leader who can deliver exceptional guest experiences in both an a la carte and a high-volume event setting, ensuring profitability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Operations:
- Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
- Ensure the highest standards of service, quality, and cleanliness are maintained.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Banquet & Event Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all banquet events from start to finish.
- Liaise with clients to understand their event needs, finalize menus, and create detailed event orders (BEOs).
- Manage banquet staff, including scheduling, briefing, and supervision during events.
- Oversee banquet setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring it aligns with client expectations.
- Financial Management:
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing and managing the restaurant and banquet budgets.
- Control inventory, monitor costs, and optimize profitability.
- Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and motivate restaurant and banquet staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment.
- Vendor & Inventory Management:
- Order supplies and manage relationships with vendors.
- Ensure proper stock levels and quality of F&B items.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, with a proven track record in banquet management.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations, service standards, and F&B cost control.
- Ability to create and manage budgets and financial reports.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field is preferred.
