Provision Of Information for Supply of Goods/Services Tender at M&P Exploration Production Tanzania Limited

1. M&P Exploration Production Tanzania Ltd. (MPEP), an upstream producer of natural gas from the Mnazi Bay gas field in the Mtwara region, hereby invites qualified suppliers to express their interest and submit information for the provision of the following service:

Provision of SPIR (Spare Parts Interchangeability Record) Development and Verification Services for Mnazi Bay Gas Production Facilities.

M&P seeks competent contractors with proven expertise in preparing, validating, and standardizing SPIR documentation in accordance with international standards and operational requirements for oil and gas production facilities.

The successful bidder will be responsible for:

• Developing complete and accurate SPIRs for critical equipment, skids, and assets across the Mnazi Bay gas production facilities.
• Verifying OEM data, part numbers, material specifications, and interchangeability information with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Standardizing spare parts data in compliance with industry best practices (e.g., ISO, API) and M&P internal maintenance systems.
• Identifying critical spares, recommended spares, commissioning spares, and long-lead items.
• Structuring and validating spare parts data for seamless integration into M&P’s ERP system (Sage X3), including preparation of import-ready templates.
• Delivering a consolidated SPIR dossier, including updated bills of materials (BOM), manufacturer references, technical data sheets, and traceability records.
1. This call for Request for Information (RFI) marks an open, transparent, and objective tender process.
2. Potential suppliers must submit information to demonstrate their capability and competency. This must include, but not be limited to, the following:
   a) Proof of experience and technical capability in providing said goods & services, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
   b) International companies with the ability to team up with local entities in any form as per the Local Content Regulations, 2017.
   c) Proof of registration with the local authorities in Tanzania or the Country of Origin. This shall include, but not be limited to, a company profile, certificate of registration with BRELA, Tax Authority certificates for Tax Identification Number and Value Added Tax, Valid Business License, Proof of registration with ERB(Engineers Registration Board) if applicable, Regulatory license and permits (if applicable), Tax Clearance Certificate, etc.
