Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all construction projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to achieve optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during a project’s life cycle.
  • Ensure all projects comply with legal requirements and industry standards.

  • Thorough knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on risk analysis and materials science and implement safety.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Budgeting and cost control expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringQuantity Surveying or Architecture or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in related role.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification is preferred but not required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Working Station: Kigoma & elsewhere in Tanzania and Eastern Africa.
