We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online.To support our video content strategy, we are hiring a talented Marketing Scriptwriter who can craft high-impact scripts that inform, inspire, and convert.As a Marketing Scriptwriter,you will be responsible for creating engaging, clear, and brand-aligned scripts for video content across various formats product explainers, promotional videos, customer education content, digital ads, tutorials, social media campaigns, and more.
This role requires a strong command of storytelling, marketing psychology, and the ability to distill complex financial and technical concepts into content that resonates with diverse audiences from first-time users to sophisticated enterprise buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling, high-quality scripts for:
    • Explainer videos, onboarding tutorials, product walkthroughs
    • Marketing campaigns, video ads, and promotional content
    • Social media videos (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
    • Internal communications and executive messaging (as needed)
  • Collaborate with marketing, brand, product, compliance, and creative teams to:
    • Translate business objectives into video narratives
    • Ensure technical accuracy and legal compliance in all scripts
    • Maintain consistency in brand tone, voice, and messaging across content types
  • Conduct research on industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive messaging to inform script strategy
  • Adapt scripts for different channels and formats (short-form, long-form, motion graphics, voiceover, live-action)
  • Participate in content planning, brainstorming sessions, and creative reviews
  • Work closely with video producers, actors, and motion designers to ensure successful execution of scripts


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in scriptwriting, content writing, or copywriting with a portfolio of produced video content
  • Proven experience crafting scripts for digital marketing or brand videos
  • Exceptional storytelling, structure, and dialogue-writing skills
  • Ability to simplify complex or technical topics for a general audience
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, buyer journeys, and calls to action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (or [target market language])
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience working with creative briefs, brand guidelines, and production teams


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in FinTech, SaaS, B2B technology, or financial services
  • Knowledge of video production workflows (pre-production, production, post-production)
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Workspace, Figma, Trello/Asana, Descript, or Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of content performance metrics and how to write for conversion
  • Experience writing for different formats: voiceover, animated videos, live action, or influencer-style content
