Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
- Calibrate instruments according to standards for accurate and efficient use.
- Check the integrity and accuracy of instruments such as flowmeters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and weigh scales.
- Disassemble instruments, examine mechanisms, clean parts, and replace worn or broken components.
- Disconnect inaccurate or damaged instruments and execute suitable replacements.
- Conduct scheduled inspections of instruments and make necessary adjustments to those not functioning correctly; clean, dust, and verify integrity via testing apparatus.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Education: Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in the manufacturing/extractive industry
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical maintenance operations and equipment, Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics
- Behavioral Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, Proficiency in MS Office applications
