Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage all site service functions including camp accommodations, catering, housekeeping, laundry, and recreation facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and productive living environment for all site personnel. Responsible for budgeting, contractor management, and maintaining high standards of service and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the annual budget for all site services departments.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule teams including catering, housekeeping, and camp maintenance.
- Manage contracts with service providers and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
- Ensure all facilities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and health codes.
- Plan and oversee the provision of meals, accommodation, and amenities for a fluctuating workforce.
- Handle client and employee feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with the HSE department on all health, sanitation, and camp safety matters.
- Manage inventory and procurement for camp supplies and food items.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in facilities or hospitality management, with at least 5 years in a remote mining or construction camp environment.
- Proven experience in budgeting and financial control.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Valid certifications in Food Safety and Health & Safety are highly desirable.
