About the Role
Are you a hospitality professional passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences? Beach Safari, a leading 4-star beach resort in Zanzibar, is seeking an experienced Guest Relations Manager to join our international team.
This expat position is ideal for a dynamic and service-oriented leader fluent in German or Dutch, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Personally welcome and manage VIP and repeat guests.
- Oversee guest requests, feedback, and complaint resolution.
- Lead, train, and motivate the Guest Relations team to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure personalised attention for special occasions and loyal guests.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Analyse guest feedback trends and implement continuous service improvements.
- Prepare weekly reports on guest satisfaction, complaints, and VIP services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fluency in German or Dutch (English proficiency required).
- Proven leadership experience in the hospitality industry (preferably in 4-star or 5-star resorts).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A guest-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in multicultural teams and environments.
