B. Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic fresh graduates who hold a Certificate or Diploma (or above) in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education to join our partner institution as Teachers. This role is ideal for candidates with strong potential, who are passionate about working with young learners and open to professional development.
C. Teaching & Learning Delivery
As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering learner-centered, play-based, and competency-driven instruction according to the Tanzanian National Curriculum Framework (NECTA) and ECE/Primary standards.
Core Teaching Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive lessons in literacy, numeracy, art, moral education, and environmental studies.
- Use storytelling, songs, games, role play, and creative projects to enhance learning and social skills.
- Apply formative and summative assessments to monitor learner progress.
- Develop and use teaching aids, including locally available materials, to make learning engaging and relevant.
- Maintain accurate lesson records, learners’ portfolios, and progress reports.
- Encourage problem-solving, creativity, communication, and teamwork among learners.
- Ensure classrooms promote exclusivity, safety, and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school heads, and parents to support holistic child growth.
D. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Beyond classroom teaching, candidates will:
- Support learning programs aligned with school and curriculum goals.
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Engage in professional growth sessions and capacity-building workshops.
- Demonstrate responsibility, discipline, and teamwork in all school-related activities.
E. Qualifications & Competencies
- Minimum Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field (fresh graduates welcome).
- Experience: None required — training and mentorship will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
- Creative, patient, responsible, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a team environment.
