Fabec Investment Limited is an engineering company involved in mining and plant-related operations. The company is seeking a qualified Crane Operator to support lifting and material-handling activities at its GGM site in Geita Region, Tanzania.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position plant components safely.
• Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before each use to ensure they are in safe working condition.
• Follow approved lifting plans and crane load charts.
• Follow instructions from signalers and other authorized personnel during lifting operations.
• Observe safe lifting procedures and ensure loads remain within approved limits.
• Apply appropriate rigging practices when handling loads.
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements throughout lifting operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a valid crane operator licence or certificate.
• Have at least two to three years of experience operating cranes in mining or plant environments.
• Demonstrate knowledge of crane load limits, rigging, and safe lifting practices.
• Be able to follow lifting plans, load charts, and signaler instructions.
• Be willing to work on a two-shift rotation covering day and night shifts.
