Chef / Cook / Dishwasher

Department: Kitchen

Reports to: Head Chef/Executive Chef

Chef/Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation
  • Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • Monitor food supplies and assist with ordering
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
  • Develop new menu items and specials
  • Manage kitchen station efficiently
  • Follow health and safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Maintain clean and organized work area

Dishwasher Responsibilities:

  • Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, and cookware
  • Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces
  • Maintain dishwashing area cleanliness
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly
  • Assist with basic food prep as needed
  • Restock clean dishes to service areas
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning chemical supplies
  • Follow safety procedures for equipment operation

Requirements for Chef/Cook:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in fine dining kitchen
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Creativity and passion for food
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environment

Requirements for Dishwasher:

  • Physical stamina
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Basic kitchen knowledge
  • Reliability and teamwork
