Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Consultant to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and close deals. The ideal candidate will have experience in an insurance agency or brokerage firm, possess in-depth knowledge of insurance products, and demonstrate a passion for business growth and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the insurance sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate insurance policies and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and tenders to secure contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an insurance agency or brokerage firm.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.
  • Proven track record in business development and closing deals in the insurance sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a competitive market.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is an added advantage.
