Job Purpose:

To provide comprehensive HR support to site management and employees, focusing on recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and compliance with labor laws and company policies in a remote site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the site recruitment process: posting jobs, screening CVs, arranging interviews, onboarding new hires.
  • Manage employee records and data for site personnel.
  • Facilitate site payroll processes by submitting accurate timekeeping, allowances, and deductions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on policies.
  • Assist in performance management processes and disciplinary procedures.
  • Coordinate training logistics and record-keeping for site staff.
  • Help organize employee engagement and welfare activities on site.
  • Ensure compliance with national labor laws and mine regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and absenteeism.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Membership with a national HR institute is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of generalist HR experience. Experience in a remote site or mining industry is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and labor legislation.
  • Discreet, ethical, and excellent at building relationships.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office.
