Mascons Tanzania Limited is a Tanzanian company engaged in construction activities, rental of plant and heavy machinery, as well as the supply of construction materials. Due to the expansion of its operations, the company invites applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanians for the following positions:

Responsibilities or duties

Wheel Loader Operators operate heavy machinery to load, transport, and stockpile various materials like aggregate, soil, and debris for construction, quarrying, and other operations .

• Material Handling: Operate wheel loaders to load trucks with materials, manage and push up stockpiles, and grade haulage routes to maintain efficient material flow across the site .
• Machine Operation: Move levers, push pedals, and turn valves to control the loader, coordinating actions with ground personnel using hand or audio signals .
• Pre-Start Inspections: Perform daily pre-operational checks on the equipment, inspecting components such as tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels, and documenting findings .
• Routine Maintenance: Maintain the equipment in a clean and operable condition by performing routine tasks like fueling, greasing, and fluid checks. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor .
• Communication: Effectively communicate with foremen, supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel to coordinate tasks and ensure a safe work environment .
• Safety Adherence: Follow all facility and regulatory safety protocols, especially when working in areas with pedestrian traffic or other vehicles .

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Must have experience operating the relevant machine or equipment.
• Must have a valid driving license permitting the operation of the relevant machine or equipment.
• Must have an understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
• Must be disciplined, honest, responsible, and capable of working effectively.
