Job Summary:

The Waitress is the face of Nayce Food & Drinking Lounge. She is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet customers warmly upon arrival, present menus, and make recommendations on food and drinks (specials, cocktails, or popular dishes).
• Order Taking: Accurately take customer orders using a notepad or POS system, ensuring special dietary requirements or modifications are communicated to the kitchen.
• Service: Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring tables are properly set and garnishes are correct.
• Table Maintenance: Monitor tables for cleanliness, clear used dishes, and reset tables for new guests.
• Cash Handling: Present bills, process payments, and return change correctly.
• Upselling: Encourage customers to purchase specials, desserts, or premium beverages to increase sales.
• Compliance: Adhere to all hygiene, health, and safety standards, as well as liquor licensing laws.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with the Kitchen and Bar staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) / O-Level.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a similar restaurant or lounge environment (preferred).
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong memory for orders; ability to work under pressure.
• Attributes: Friendly, presentable, punctual, and well-groomed.
