Vocational Instructor – Plumbing and Pipe Fittings

Job Description

The Vocational Instructor – Plumbing and Pipe Fittings will train students in plumbing systems installation, maintenance, repair, and safe work practices using competency-based teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical plumbing instruction.
• Demonstrate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Supervise workshop activities and practical assessments.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Maintain workshop equipment and training resources.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Support curriculum implementation and skills development.

Requirements

• Minimum NVA Level 3 in Plumbing and Pipe Fittings from a VETA institution.
• Vocational Teachers Training Certificate (VTTC).
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Good communication, computer, and English language skills.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24
