JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receiving, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment. This role is key to maintaining accurate inventory records and an organized storeroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, count, and store incoming shipments.
• Verify receipts against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.
• Issue materials and supplies to other departments upon request.
• Maintain accurate records of all items received and issued in the inventory system.
• Perform regular stock counts and maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom.
• Identify and report low stock levels or damaged goods.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse/logistical environment.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: associate degree
