Store Controller

The Store Controller is responsible for the efficient management and control of all stock and supplies within the hotel . Key responsibilities include:

• Stock Management: Maintaining accurate stock levels by conducting regular inventory checks and audits . This also involves monitoring stock usage and ensuring timely replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking .
• Receiving and Distribution: Receiving, inspecting, and storing all incoming goods to ensure quality and compliance with standards . They also process stock requests from various departments and ensure efficient distribution .
• Record Keeping: Maintaining clear and accurate records of all stock movements using internal systems .
• Inventory Procedures: Implementing stock rotation policies (e.g., FIFO - First In, First Out) and managing stock takes .
• Reporting: Assisting in stock reconciliation and preparing reports for the finance and procurement teams . This can also involve cost reporting, such as cost per head or sales per head .
• Supplier Liaison: Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage deliveries and resolve any discrepancies or issues .
• Health and Safety: Following all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the storage and handling of goods, ensuring a clean and organized store environment

Requirements:

• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Working experience in the hotel (2+ years on the same roles)
• Ability to work 5 star and busy hotel
• Purchase order processing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP or ERP system knowledge is an added advantage.
• Supplier sourcing and management skills
• Local residence only
