JOB DETAILS:

Xin Yu Investment Limited is seeking a Senior System Manager to oversee manufacturing and operational systems.

Responsibilities or duties

To oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, and other plant-floor information systems, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

• Lead the roadmap, upgrade, and support of MES, SCADA, historian, and reporting systems.
• Manage integration between ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and plant-floor automation (PLCs, robots, sensors).
• Define data collection standards (OPC UA, MQTT) for OEE, downtime, and quality tracking.
• Supervise a team of automation engineers and system analysts.
• Ensure cybersecurity for OT networks (ISA/IEC 62443 compliance).
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to digitize work orders and logbooks.
• Manage system vendors, licenses, and budgets for industrial software.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related (Master’s preferred).
• Certifications: MES platform (e.g., Apriso, Camstar, Ignition), or SCADA (Wonderware, FactoryTalk).
• Deep understanding of SQL databases, networking, and virtualization.
• Ability to translate operational needs into system requirements.
• Strong vendor and team management.

Experience needed

• 8–12 years in industrial IT/OT roles, with at least 4 years in a managerial position.
• Proven track record of successful MES implementation or major upgrade.
