JOB DETAILS:

JOB SUMMARY

Teachers report to the applicable principal and are responsible for all aspects of teaching and learning within their classroom including classroom management, lesson planning, assessment, and reporting. Teachers also serve as student mentors and usually lead service learning student groups as well as volunteer to lead clubs or coach sports.

Ideal candidates for all positions will be self-motivated, team players, adaptable, and willing to learn with experience working in multicultural, international settings, and fluent in English.

HOPAC follows the Cambridge curriculum and is an ACSI/WASC accredited school.

The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. One aspect of this role is to serve as an EdAdmin Super User for all Academic/Student modules. This role has a dotted reporting line to the HR Manager and full support for Principals

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE FOR TEACHING STAFF:

• Bachelor’s degree in education/teaching or PGCE
• Minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a multicultural setting
• Experience with Cambridge International curriculum preferred
• Fluent in English, the medium of instruction
• Committed Christian, actively living for God and pursuing spiritual growth

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
