The Sales and Marketing Officer position is a dynamic role that combines business development, client relationship management, and marketing execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, driving sales growth, promoting the company’s products and services, and implementing marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and support business expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify target markets and business opportunities to drive sales growth
  • Generate leads and conduct cold-calling activities to attract prospective customers
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Plan and implement digital and offline marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness
  • Manage the company’s social media platforms and create engaging marketing content
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and strategies
  • Organize and represent the company at promotional events, exhibitions, and trade shows
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead generation efforts
  • Collect and document customer feedback to support service improvement initiatives
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance reports
  • Support the development and execution of business growth strategies

Qualifications required

  • Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience using sales management software and CRM systems
  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and digital marketing activities
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure
