Nature and Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to increase understanding of and activities in Specialist Services Related Opportunities pertaining to Fumigation, Vector Control & Termite Sales Growth opportunities as designated by the Local Branch Manager
The Specialist Services Consultant will be responsible for developing new business opportunities a designated geographical area within Kenya

Key responsibilities
Sales Growth through Local Sales Consultants
• Identifying Specialist Services Related Opportunities within their Area in accordance with the Area Sales Strategy.
• To liaise with Country & Branch Managers and act as the bridge between Sales and Service.
• To demonstrate innovative ways of sourcing and securing new business in accordance with Rentokil Pest Control’s long term goals and strategy within agreed targets.
• To provide innovative Specialist Services related solutions to all clients supporting.
• To positively promote Rentokil Specialist Services in the aforementioned Sectors. Government, Food Manufacturing, Facilities Management, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical industry, Hospitality, Construction etc
• To attend large Job meetings as and when required.
• To maintain and build upon customer relationships within the Targeted Sectors.

Administration

• To maintain a prospect database of potential clients and share this information across other regions within the business.
• To ensure that all Documentation is passed fit for purpose before going to the Client

Other

• To actively network with other local Sales Consultants in exchanging best practices in Specialist Services.
• To ensure the business instructions regarding the Health & Safety of staff and customers, other site contractors, the public and the environment are followed.
• To perform any other reasonable duties that may arise in performing the job.
• Organise your diary to work effectively during contract working hours with fellow colleagues. This will necessitate a flexibility to stay away from home as the need arises achieving agreed KPI’s

Knowledge and experience
• Ideally have a detailed and technical understanding of Specialist Services and products.
• Pest Control experience an essential
• Health and Safety awareness and requirements.
• Proven business development experience.
