JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, Public Relations or a related field.
• At least three (2) years of industry-related sales experience.
• In-depth knowledge of products and services offered by Tanzanite Experience.

Responsibilities

• Make sure they welcome all customers who enter the shop in a very warm and positive way.
• Take customers on a guided tour of the museum with thorough product knowledge.
• Completing stock control sheets at the start and end of the day;
• Displaying stock on the display cabinets every day, make sure it looks orderly and neat in appearance and ensure price tags     are attached to merchandise;
• Responsible for processing cash and card payments and completing all sales documents for customers;
• Ensuring outlets as per the rotational roster are opened on time and ensuring that you are always present and on time;
• Ensuring outlets are always clean, all tools are in place and that all equipment is fully operational;
• Reporting immediately to the Sales Manager/Operations Manager when any equipment is not functioning, i.e. EFD, AC,       Lights, PDQ, etc.
• Ensuring the support phone left in your custody is on at all times;
• Assist the Sales Manager in any work required.
• Undertake sales process, cash and card payments in addition to museum tours;
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and self-learning activities in addition to periodical job training;
• Put forward recommendations on areas to improve to achieve a higher sales bracket.
• Participate in routine marketing events to help achieve a higher sales bracket.
• Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Sales Manager.
• Answering queries from customers, together with giving advice and guidance on product selection.
• Keeping up to date with special promotions and highlighting the same to customers;
• Following policies & procedures relating to cash and stock handling;
• Giving advice and guidance to assist customers in making their selection
