Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established professional standards, hospital policies, and clinical protocols.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report significant changes to the attending clinician.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and health promotion.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional nursing standards.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service in all patient interactions and actively promote patient satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) and possess a valid practicing license.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant clinical experience in a reputable hospital is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
