Role Overview:
To provide psychiatric care, teach mental health professionals, and conduct research in psychiatry and behavioral sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychiatric assessment and treatment services.
- Teach psychiatry and mental health to students, residents, and allied health staff.
- Conduct research in mental health disorders, addiction, psychotherapy, neuropsychiatry, or mental health services.
- Supervise clinical training and case discussions.
- Engage in mental health stigma reduction, community awareness, and school-based programs.
- Participate in forensic psychiatry and liaison psychiatry services.
Requirements:
- MMed in Psychiatry; PhD or research experience advantageous.
- Mandatory GPA: Master’s (MMed) GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s (MBBS/MD) GPA ≥ 3.5.
- Clinical and psychotherapeutic skills.
- Experience in academic teaching.
- Commitment to integrative and culturally sensitive mental health care.
