Overall Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall project achievement including planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring
  • Instil technical know-how on trail bridge construction through targeted capacity development of relevant government institutions, private sector, NGOs, education institutions and local communities
  • Facilitate the government for the continuation and scaling of the trail bridge building as means of safer connectivity of rural people beyond the road network
  • Effectively manage project resources including personnel, finance and assets
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationship and exchange with stakeholders

Basic Education:

Master's degree in project management or related field from recognised institution. Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • Master's degree in project management or related field from recognised institution. Demonstrated experience in managing infrastructure projects will be an advantage
  • Proven experience in community engagement, and LGAs on related fields.
  • At least 8 years' experience in planning, design and delivery of rural infrastructure in a similar context.
  • Experience in working with both public and private sector actors, including experience in working with TARURA.
  • Experience of working with and building capacities of multidisciplinary local teams drawn from government, civil society and the public sector
  • Experience with labour-based and community-led construction.
