Background
DKT International Tanzania Programs Officer: The Programs Officer will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing DKT’s core programmatic activities and healthcare provider training initiatives across Tanzania. Africans& Diaspora
The role will primarily focus on designing and implementing high-quality clinical training programs that strengthen healthcare provider knowledge and practice. The ideal candidate should also have a strong sales-oriented mindset, ensuring that training and community activities are aligned with the sales team to drive product visibility, uptake, and measurable market impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to align product knowledge, service quality, clinical education, and field activities with regional sales objectives.
- Develop activity budgets, monitor programmatic data, and prepare clear reports highlighting activities, results, and impact.
- Coordinate community mobilization, awareness, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and product uptake.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver healthcare provider training programs to strengthen clinical proficiency, awareness, and confidence in DKT’s product portfolio.
- Develop and continuously improve training curricula, educational aids, and value propositions to maintain healthcare provider engagement.
- Represent DKT in stakeholder, NGO, partner, and other relevant external meetings.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and validate clinically accurate educational and marketing content relating to reproductive health, family planning, and DKT’s product portfolio.
- Ensure educational and programmatic messaging is evidence-based, compliant with applicable regulations, and aligned with DKT’s objectives and product positioning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Science, Nursing, Clinical Medicine, or a related field.
- Clinical experience and/or Trainer of Trainers (ToT) certification will be highly valued.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in family planning, reproductive health, or healthcare programs within an NGO or private-sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and executing field activities.
- Strong sales-oriented mindset or experience working closely with commercial/sales teams.
- Ability to connect clinical training and program outcomes with product demand, market uptake, and sales growth.
- Strong skills in program execution, budget management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to effectively bridge communication between clinical/program environments and internal sales teams.
