The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services required by the organization. Qualifications or requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Procurement and Supply (e.g., CPSP or CIPS) is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and supplier management.

- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
- Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Inspect received goods and verify that they meet required specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delays, shortages, and supplier performance concerns.
