Preschool Teacher & School Manager Job Vacancy at Little Doves Daycare
About Us:
Little Doves Daycare is a registered Centre dedicated to providing daytime social care for infants and toddlers below five (5) years of age under Tanzania’s Child Act No. 21 of 2009. We ensure nurturing, structured, and developmentally appropriate care for children, fostering their growth in a safe and supportive environment.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced female Preschool Teacher who will also take charge of the school’s management who will be ready to commence duty on 8th April, 2026.
Requirements:
- Fluent in British English
- Certified in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education / Early Childhood Education
- Strong experience with the NECTA, Cambridge Curriculum – Minimum, 5 years
- Proven background in school management and administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Roles & Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum
- Create a nurturing, child-centered classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Assess and report on children’s progress to parents
- Oversee daily school operations and administration
- Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff
- Manage resources, timetables, and school activities effectively
- Foster strong communication between staff, parents, and the wider community
- Lead initiatives to improve teaching quality and overall school performance
