The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities caused by injury, illness, or aging. The goal is to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent further injury through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions (muscle strength, range of motion, coordination, respiratory function) through diagnostic tests and observations.

Treatment: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing exercises, manual therapy (mobilization/massage), electrotherapy (e.g., TENS, ultrasound), and hydrotherapy.

Rehabilitation: Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities to facilitate recovery from surgery, stroke, or sports injuries.

Patient Education: Teach patients and families how to prevent injuries, manage chronic conditions (e.g., arthritis), and use assistive devices (crutches, walkers, wheelchairs).

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with Orthopedists, Neurologists, and Occupational Therapists to ensure holistic patient care.

Documentation: Maintain precise records of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Licensure: Valid state/country license to practice Physiotherapy.

Experience: Clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation center (experience in orthopedics/neurology preferred).

Skills: Manual dexterity, physical stamina, diagnostic acumen, and strong interpersonal skills.
